FYI: This eight-page brochure is put out by Supreme Assembly, IORG. They cost 50 cents each and you can order them from Supreme Assembly, item number B15-006. There is also a pair of two different 11"x17" posters that use several of the same photos as seen on this brochure. Set of 2 costs $3.00, item number X-97-011.

This is a great brochure that explains all about Rainbow! It has pictures showing examples of the things we do, and shows some of the merit bars & other awards that dedicated members can earn. However, not all Grand Jurisdictions' (states or countries) rules include allowing the Worthy Advisor to wear a crown. Please keep that in mind.

Building Character, Camaraderie, Committment, and Superb Communications Skills in Exceptional Young Women Since 1922

      Joy You Bring

You can do it! You can be better… at home, in school and in all the things you do. You can even have more fun with your friends and make new ones, too. You can make a difference. You can be a Rainbow Girl!

What Rainbow Girls Do

The International Order of the Rainbow for Girls is a fraternal service organization for young women like you who want to be the best they can be. Rainbow Girls learn and practice superb communication skills, how to work with others, and to take responsibilities seriously. Rainbow Girls learn important skills by participating in a variety of activities. At meetings they plan many fun things together… including ceremonial marching, entertainment, all types of functions such as dances, camping trips, going to plays, skating and ski outings, snow tubing trips, sleep-overs, pizza parties, and mystery trips… the list is endless! Rainbow Girls help others by participating in service projects and learn that helping those less fortunate is one of life’s greatest rewards. They perform service work in their community and earn coveted merit awards denoting their achievements, which they proudly wear to Rainbow functions. Girls visit other assemblies as well as functions within their own jurisdiction. There they learn new things, share experiences, and make new friends in a safe, chaperoned environment. They can participate in drill marching, talent, ritual, and speech competitions, too! At Rainbow Camp, girls not only participate in the regular camp activities, but conduct their business and ceremonial work as well!
