- A little keychain I discovered in a box while helping to clean out and reorganize the closet where our Assembly stored everything. I was allowed to keep it.

- Green suede bookmark with gold Rainbow emblem. This was found with the keychain shown at the left. It's very soft to the touch. It's a nice, almost avocado green, but has faded around the edges with time. I'm not sure of its age.

- Rainbow ring, gold-plated. It has an adjustable-size band. It's not very fancy, but the enamel emblem is nice and clean; it looks new. Slight discoloration of violet enamel. This was part of a vintage "lot" I purchased.
![]()
- Sweater guard, gold-plated. From the same vintage "lot" that ring came from. Designed to hold your sweater in place over your shoulders. A cute little item; very utilitarian.
![]()
- Rainbow necklace, gold-plated. The third piece in that vintage "lot". I really liked the shape of this one, with the rhinestones around it. A nice piece, for costume jewelry.
![]()
- Another vintage gold-plated necklace. I really enjoyed the design of this one. This is leftover stock from a closed jewelry store, and is mint-on-card, though I placed some fabric between the pendant and the card for this scan. The red enamel is very crackly between the B and the F.

- Rainbow Girls pennant. Black felt with cream-colored words and emblem, 24 inches long. I'm not sure of the age. This was found in Michigan. It's in very good condition, but was folded in half at one time.

- A little plaque, perhaps for a desktop. It's actually about 3&1/2" wide, can you believe? I love the emblem on this; very detailed. Not sure of it's age, but has a nice patina.

- Rainbow Teacup and Saucer. This is a hand-painted china teacup & saucer I came across a few years ago. The cup is an unusual shape. I also have a scan of the saucer, and the close-up of the center of the saucer, so you can see the hand-painted detail.

- Another Rainbow Teacup and Saucer. This is also hand-painted china , though I believe the gold part of the emblem was stamped, and the colors painted in. I think those are supposed to be pots of gold surrounding the saucer, but they honestly look more like woven baskets. See a scan of the saucer, and a close-up of the center of this saucer.

- Rainbow China Creamer and Sugar. This is an adorable little set by Royal Strafford that compliments one of my china teacups quite nicely, I think. A close-up of the creamer shows the beautiful hand-painted emblem.
![]()
- Handpainted Rainbow China plate. This matches the china teacup and saucer above. See the Rainbow emblem in the center up close; also the little gold baskets that are supposed to be pots of gold. Sticker on the back says "Made in Japan", and "Handpainted" is written in a maroon ink below the sticker.

Rainbow Golden (50th) Anniversary Plate. Image of the Supreme Temple can be seen better on the closeup view. The back is plain, except for the words "Golden Anniversary, 1922-1972". The plate has quite a bit of crazing on it; I'm not sure if it was made that way or has just aged poorly.

Hand-painted Rainbow creamer, "Cherry" China. This beautiful little creamer matches one of my teacups (the oddly-shaped one). It is in excellent condition, with vivid colors and an intricate handle.

- Tray commemorating the Supreme Temple. Made of thin wood with paper laminated on top and bottom. It's as light as cardboard. Has sustained some damage over the years, but is still lovely. This is, I assume, an artist's conception of how the Supreme Temple would look when completed, with an inset of a photo of W. Mark Sexson, founder of our Order. Date of drawing is '50, the Supreme Temple was built in 1951. Made by Haskelite of Chicago, as stated on the back of the tray. The large image was pieced together from two separate scans, and I could not get them to line up perfectly, sorry. Also, because the tray is glossy, and curved at the edges, there are some weird swirly lines on the image from the scanner. I hope to take a good photo of this tray soon.

- Anchor Hocking glass jar, commemorating the 50th session of the Grand Assembly of New York, in 1990. This is a tiny jar; just over 4&1/2" in height with the lid on. The Rainbow emblem is gold colored, and the text underneath states "Grand Assembly of New York 1940-1990". Yes, this is a newer item, but today's trash is tomorrow's treasure!
I apologize for the poor quality of the scan -- it will be replaced with a photo of the jar soon.

- Rainbow rhinestone necklace. A 17" rhinestone necklace with a "V" of the seven colors of Rainbow, with the remainder of the stones being clear or smoke in color. This was purchased at Massachusetts' Grand Assembly in 1989 as a present for a girl who had just joined Rainbow. One clear rhinestone is missing. This is not marked, but I have seen similar items for sale at Stange. Co.

- "The Rainbow", a limited edition of 850, by Sebastian Miniatures. This hand-painted miniature was produced in 1995 for the Massachusetts Grand Assembly. This is number 787, as seen on the base of the item. The back of the item gives a bit of background on Rainbow: "The International Order of the Rainbow for Girls, founded in 1922 in McAlester, Oklahoma by Rev. W. Mark Sexson, is an organization for girls ages 11-20. Rainbow was instituted in Massachusetts in 1924. The teachings of the Order, which are LOVE, RELIGION, NATURE, IMMORTALITY, FIDELITY, PATRIOTISM and SERVICE, are represented by the seven colors of the rainbow."

- The Rainbow Girl. This is a vintage art print, framed in gold. Okay, so it's not really IORG-related, but I thought it was so lovely I had to purchase it, and include it here. I see it as symbolic of a member of our Order, standing in the "light" of the seven lessons taught at Initiation.
This image is a scan, which does not come close to showing the true colors of this print. A photo will be coming soon.

- A pair of rose-gold-colored, screwback earrings with the Rainbow emblem. See the side view. Somebody obviously cleaned these, ruining the enamel on the emblems (it's not your imagination). I am considering taking them to a jeweler at some point and pricing the cost of getting them restored. They're just costume jewelry, but they're very pretty.

- Souvenir tile from Supreme Assembly 1970 in Cleveland, Ohio. This ceramic tile has cork on the back, also a little metal tab you could use to hang it from. This is the best Rainbow emblem I have seen on a piece of merchandise, ever, I think. The color bars are balanced, the handshake doesn't look demented -- the only complaint I have is that the B and C have the usual "we're too lazy to make it look good" color job (no white in the holes of the B, no red or blue in the center of the C).

Gold-tone, locket-style keychain with Rainbow emblem on it. Opens to reveal spaces to put two photos. Part of a "lot" of newer (1985-current) Rainbow-related jewelry that I purchased from Amy, a Majority Past Grand Officer.

White "leather" star-shaped bookmark, embossed with Rainbow emblem in gold. Has a tassle hanging off of it. Part of the "lot" of Rainbow-related jewelry that I purchased from Amy, a Majority Past Grand Officer.

Enameled bracelet with Rainbow emblem and dangling pot of gold. Darling little item. Also part of the "lot" of Rainbow-related jewelry I purchased from Amy.
![]()
Enamel pin, showing a castle. I was told this the pin for the Grand Worthy Advisor's theme (state and year unknown). Part of the "lot" of jewelry from Amy.
![]()
Enamel pin of a carousel. Has the words "Believe in your Imagination" at the bottom, and "1988-1989" at the top. This was that year's Grand Worthy Advisor's theme (state unknown). Part of the "lot" of jewelry from Amy.
![]()
Enamel pin of a Rainbow hot air balloon. Has to word "youth" across the front. Unsure of what this pin was for. Part of the "lot" of jewelry from Amy.
![]()
Metal pin of three people. Part of the "lot" of Rainbow jewelry from Amy. This was from some sort of travel award, I was told.
![]()
Silver-tone and enamel Grand Assembly charm, with a '92 charm attached. Part of the "lot" of Rainbow jewelry from Amy.
![]()
Gold-tone '96 charm. Part of the "lot" of Rainbow jewelry from Amy. I was told she purchased quite a few of these items at Grand Assemblies in the early 1990's.
![]()
Gold-tone Texas charm. Part of the "lot" of Rainbow jewelry from Amy. This was a gift to her from the Grand Representatives from Texas.
![]()
Enamel Colorado state charm. Part of the "lot" of Rainbow jewelry from Amy.
![]()
Gold-tone pin of clasped hands. Part of the "lot" of Rainbow jewelry from Amy. Was a gift to her.
![]()
Gold-tone and enamel Rainbow emblem charm. Last item from the "lot" of Rainbow jewelry from Amy.

Silver Rainbow emblem ring. Very cute, with little Pots of Gold on either side of the heart. This was part of a "lot" of jewelry from Ginny, a Rainbow Girl from Cranston, RI in the late 50's/early 60's. Her merit bars can be seen on the Member & Officer jewelry page.
![]()
Silver-tone ring with Rainbow emblem. I'm pretty sure the onyx is faux. It's not your imagination; the Rainbow emblem is crooked (the rivet has become loose with time). Lovely swirl on the side of the ring. Shank (not shown) is a little bent. This was part of a "lot" of jewelry from Ginny.

Vintage Mother of Pearl cross with Rainbow emblem on it. 16" gold-tone chain attached. This was part of a "lot" of jewelry from Ginny.
