- Membership pin. The Rainbow emblem attached to a pot of gold by a chain. I received this at my initiation in 1986. It's from Lindeburg.

- Past Worthy Advisor's pin. If a girl completes the requirements of the office of Worthy Advisor (these vary in each Assembly), she will have earned this pin. This is also from Lindeburg.

- Member's ring. The Rainbow emblem on 14kt gold. I like the detailing on this ring; it reminds me of the filigree style jewelry from the 1920's (which I happen to love). My dad bought me this at my first Grand Assembly in 1988. I can't remember the vendor's name (I want to say Plasticraft). I have seen this identical ring (10kt gold) in a Stange catalog.

- Ritual Award. Some Assemblies give out awards for the best Bow or Line Officer work during an Initiation (mine was for Fidelity). These can also be earned at District- and State-wide Ritual Competitions. I am not sure of the maker.

- Merit Bars. In California, you earn points (like one point for every hour you worked at a fundraiser, one point for every dollar's worth of candy bars you sold, etc.) The Merit badge is 150 points, each bar is 100 points, and the pot of gold and wreath are 150 points. The requirements for earning these vary in different Grand jurisdictions. And until you invest in those split-ring connectors (like on mine), or have soldered the rings closed, you are constantly repairing them!
The gold on the wreath is flaking off (more so on the back than the front). My dad accidentally washed my brag rag! These came from Lindeburg, but I know Stange makes them too.

- Perfect Attendance Bars (both mine). The one on the left is from Lindeburg, the one on the right is from Stange. Neither are complete (Lindeburg doesn't make an 8-year bar, and I bought the Stange one while at Supreme Assembly in Texas back in '92, and was unable to locate them until recently). I like the top of the Stange one better than Lindeburg's. It looks more "official", for lack of a better word.

- The Grand Cross of Color. The highest achievement a girl can receive. You might be awarded (not rewarded) this after years of service in the order. You don't earn this after being Worthy Advisor, and not everyone gets this honor. Adults (Masons, Eastern Star, Majority Members, etc) can also be awarded the Grand Cross. This is worn on an indigo ribbon around the neck. Earlier Grand Crosses were worn on a ribbon-badge that you pinned near your heart.

- A pin given to me by my Grand Deputy (who was Mother Advisor when I was initiated) on the day I received my Grand Cross. Some of the enamel has chipped off, also due to being run through the washing machine. Thanks, Dad. This is from Lindeburg as well.

- My Charm Bracelet. Given to me by my godmother, a PGWAA in CA in the early 60's. It's almost complete; the harp is missing, which I keep forgetting to purchase. Otherwise, I have all the charms, because I held all the offices. I also have these in the form of pins on my brag rag. For an image of this with all charms named, click here.

- Lambskin apron. Given to me at my Initiation. See what it looks like under the flap. My name's written on there, but I blanked it out on this image. It's in pretty good shape -- it's been stored in my 'Rainbow Girls' Holy Bible for about 11 years. (I thought it was lost!) I believe this item has to be purchased through Supreme Assembly.
